WiiFit Plus - Nsider review

Wii Fit Plus is exactly what it says on the box: Wii Fit, plus a set of enhancements that perhaps should have even been in the first version—but nonetheless are hard to argue with when the upgrade is only $20. People who are getting it for the first time in the $100 bundle right now (and there must be some—I went to Best Buy again later that week and they were only selling old dusty bundles of the original, no Plus bundles in sight) are going to get the great improvements right off the bat. For those of us who got into Fit originally, though, finding it workable and enjoyable though in need of a few tweaks—Plus delivers.

Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll

From what we’ve seen of Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll so far, SEGA doesn’t appear to be straying far from the game’s classic formula in this, the series’ tenth iteration. We’re sure that there will be a wide range of new mini-games in the final version and maybe a couple of new ideas in the main campaign, but the biggest focus here is on balance board implementation.

In Wii Fit Plus, users will be able to input the amount of time they want to workout or select an improvement area -- say, their stomach or their legs -- and the game will customize an exercise program for them. Users will be able to mix and match strength and yoga activities they prefer. The title will also provided estimated calories burned percentages after workouts. But of course, the feature that our own Craig Harris is most excited about is a special new option that allows users to accurately weigh their dogs or cats.
